NEW WORKS
   "No One Left
       to Argue
   but the Crows"

This work is a cautionary tale for our times. It was inspired by our current political climate, and there are no winners in this argument. The triptych is ink with wax resist figures collaged onto a plywood board. In the foreground are a murder of crows, and in the background are voyeuristic skeletal figures. On the eve of the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln beseeched the states of the South, " We are not enemies but friends. Though passion may have strained it must not break our bonds of affection... when again touched... by the better angels of our nature.” It feels very much as if we are again in this desolate place.
