"They are
Strong and Good
(and Don't Eat Pets)"

This sculpture is in honor of the many immigrants who struggled to come to our country against all odds only to be met by cruel ignorance and idiotic prejudices.

The Mobius Ferris Wheel frame is a sort of whimsical and treacherous impending challenge that immigrants have faced in search of a better life.

The title is a parody of a book "They Were Strong and Good" by Robert Lawson about a European immigrant family in the 1800s.
